This Privacy Policy explains how POPS4 (the "Service," "app," or "POPS4"), operated by HAKO SHIKIN LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use POPS4 through pops4.com, huanggoodman.com, the POPS4 publishing pipeline, the Fending and Huang Goodman Market Intelligence editorial briefs, or any related products and services.

This Privacy Policy applies to POPS4 and is part of the POPS4 Terms of Service. For terms that govern purchases of printed promotional products, please also review PRINTTERMSANDCONDITIONS.COM, which is incorporated into the POPS4 Terms by reference for all print product orders.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you give us

Contact and account information such as your name, business name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and job title when you sign up for POPS4, subscribe to the Fending editorial brief, request a quote, or contact us.
Order information including the promotional products you purchase, shipping and billing addresses, artwork and logos you submit for production, and customer reference details.
User Content you submit through POPS4, including text, images, artwork, or logos.
Communications such as emails, messages, and support requests you send to POPS4.

1.2 Information collected automatically

Device and log data such as IP address, browser type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed on pops4.com, and timestamps.
Cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, measure traffic, and secure your session. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some POPS4 features may not work correctly without them.
Analytics data to understand how visitors use pops4.com and our editorial properties, collected in aggregate.

1.3 Information from third-party platforms

When you connect a third-party account to POPS4 via OAuth (for example YouTube/Google, TikTok, Pinterest, X, LinkedIn, or Meta platforms), POPS4 receives the information you authorize, which may include your account identifier, display name, profile picture, access tokens, refresh tokens, and the scopes you have granted (for example, permission to upload videos or publish posts on your behalf). POPS4 does not receive your password for any third-party account.

2. How We Use Information

POPS4 uses the information it collects to:

operate, maintain, and improve the POPS4 Service, including rendering videos, generating editorial content, and delivering the Fending brief;
publish content you have authorized POPS4 to publish on third-party platforms (such as uploading a POPS4-rendered video to your YouTube channel or TikTok account);
fulfill and ship promotional product orders placed through POPS4 under the PRINTTERMSANDCONDITIONS.COM standard print terms;
process payments and prevent fraud;
communicate with you about POPS4, including order updates, product announcements, and editorial briefs you have subscribed to;
analyze aggregate usage to understand engagement and improve POPS4;
enforce the POPS4 Terms of Service and comply with law.

3. How POPS4 Uses YouTube API Services

POPS4 uses YouTube API Services to upload and manage videos on YouTube channels that you have connected to POPS4. Specifically, POPS4 may use YouTube API Services to:

exchange a refresh token for a short-lived access token on your behalf;
upload video files you authorize POPS4 to publish;
set the title, description, tags, and privacy status on videos POPS4 uploads;
read upload status and error messages.

By using POPS4, you are also agreeing to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke POPS4's access to your Google account at any time at the Google security settings page. POPS4 stores the minimum tokens and metadata required to operate the pipeline and does not use YouTube user data for advertising or share it with third parties except as described in this Privacy Policy.

4. How POPS4 Uses TikTok, Pinterest, X, LinkedIn, Meta and Other Platform APIs

POPS4 uses the public APIs of TikTok, Pinterest, X, LinkedIn, Meta (Instagram, Threads, Facebook), Substack, and other third-party platforms to publish content you have authorized POPS4 to publish on your behalf. For each platform, POPS4:

stores only the access token or refresh token needed to make API calls on your behalf;
uses the API only for the scopes you have granted (for example, "post content");
does not read, download, or retain data from those platforms beyond what is required to confirm a publish action succeeded;
does not sell, rent, share, or otherwise distribute platform data to any third party.

Your use of each third-party platform through POPS4 is also governed by that platform's own terms and privacy policy, including: TikTok Privacy Policy, Pinterest Privacy Policy, X Privacy Policy, LinkedIn Privacy Policy, Instagram Privacy Policy.

5. How We Share Information

POPS4 does not sell personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

Third-party platforms you have connected (YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, X, LinkedIn, Meta, Substack)	To publish content you have authorized POPS4 to publish on your behalf.
Service providers	Hosting (Cloudflare), rendering (AWS Lambda, Amazon S3), AI editorial (Anthropic), email delivery (Resend), and payment processing — each under a contract that limits their use of the data to providing services to POPS4.
Print and fulfillment partners	To produce and ship printed promotional products you have ordered, under the print terms at PRINTTERMSANDCONDITIONS.COM.
Legal and safety	When we believe disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or court order, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of POPS4, our users, or the public.
Business transfers	If POPS4 or HAKO SHIKIN LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to continued protection under this Privacy Policy or a successor policy with equivalent protections.

6. Data Retention

POPS4 retains personal information for as long as your account is active, as long as is necessary to provide you with the Service, or as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your information at any time by emailing privacy@pops4.com. When you revoke POPS4's access to a third-party platform, POPS4 deletes the associated refresh token within a reasonable timeframe.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights with respect to your personal information:

Access — request a copy of the personal information POPS4 holds about you;
Correction — request that POPS4 correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
Deletion — request that POPS4 delete your personal information;
Opt out of marketing — unsubscribe from marketing or editorial emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in any such email;
Data portability — request a copy of your information in a machine-readable format;
Withdraw consent — where POPS4 processes your information based on consent, withdraw that consent at any time;
Lodge a complaint — contact your local data protection authority if you believe POPS4 has violated your rights.

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) including the right to know what personal information POPS4 collects, the right to request deletion, and the right to non-discrimination. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have rights under the GDPR.

To exercise any of these rights, contact POPS4 at privacy@pops4.com. POPS4 will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

8. Security

POPS4 uses industry-standard safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and secret storage for third-party API credentials. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

POPS4 is not directed to children under the age of 13. POPS4 does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. International Data Transfers

POPS4 is operated from the United States. If you use POPS4 from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States. By using POPS4, you consent to this transfer.

11. Changes to This Policy

POPS4 may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated policy at pops4.com/legal/privacy-policy.html and updating the "Effective" date above. Your continued use of POPS4 after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
